A Linlithgow investment firm has proved more than a match for the big boys when it comes to looking after their clients' cash.
For Alan Steel Asset Management of Linlithgow's Regent Centre has just scooped the prestigious "Best Investment Adviser" award for the third time.
Alan Steel (65) attended the Money Marketing UK Financial Services Awards in London's plush Grosvenor House Hotel and unabashedly stepped forward to grasp the award which his firm previously won in 2005 and 2007.
"We were second in 2009 and thought we should have won it that year also," said Alan on Monday.
"However, I'm delighted for all the backroom boys and girls here in Linlithgow. It's their hard work that gets results like this."
Alan Steel Asset Management has now been shortlisted eight times in 10 years for this award.
The company employs 40 men and women, mostly local. There are 10 financial advisers and 30 support staff.
"I'm proud to call the support staff my 'unsung heroes'," said Alan this week.
